Accessing Available Reports

Within the Shared Reports folder on the Home tab, WellSky has created nearly 50 common reports customers can view to get critical information about the performance of their operations.   These reports are primarily located within the 4 folders already set up for the company: AP (Accounts Payable), AR (Accounts Receivable), Clinical and General Ledger. populated with numerous reports.

There are also a handful of reports available directly within the Shared Reports folder.

Executing/Viewing A Report

The user may click Execute below any report to view the data within the report.

Each report has specific filters that can be used to limit or expand the data displayed in the report.  Reports will display the most current data available based on the parameter settings of the filters when the report was last saved.

Adjusting the Filters on a report will refresh the report based upon the new filter settings.  When changing date-based filters, “Apply” will need to be clicked to refresh the report.

Creating A New Report

Click on the Create Report Icon  to create a new report.

In the new report select the Cube you wish to use for the report. You are not able to use more than one of the 4 available cubes per table.

Once the cube is added they you choose the Dimension you want to drag and drop into the table. You can have multiple Dimensions on the columns or rows.

Click on the triangle next to the Dimension name to Choose the Members of that Dimension.

Click on Set Filter:  Then select only the Names of the Facilities and hit ok:

You can then drag a Measure into the report after you have your Dimensions chosen.

To add a report filter move your cursor up towards the tool bar slowly until you see a solid blue line. Left mouse click on the solid blue line and the menu below will appear. Select Report Filter

You are then able to drag a Dimension into the report filter and set members on it the same as the Dimension in the table (addressed above).
